This documentary feature tells the story of how the disillusioned son of a Hamas leader whilst imprisoned, is recruited as a spy for the Israeli Government. I was drawn to this real-life political thriller because of the powerful relationship that developed between Mosab, a Palestinian and Gonen an Israeli spy over the years in their shared pursuit of peace, against all odds. As an example of a strong human story that delivers some hope where there seems to be none, The Green Prince premiered at Sundance and was the winner of The Audience award World Cinema there.
