This feature film was based on an original award-winning stage play by Ed Thomas and developed and produced in Wales. It was a first feature film for me and for the hugely talented director, Marc Evans, and it was also the debut screen performance of the acclaimed Emmy award-winning Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, who we spotted whilst in his last year at RADA, age 17. Marc collaborated with the Welsh genius John Cale of Velvet Underground on the original score, the super cool French camera team Pierre Aim and Georges Diane, who shot La Haine, and the extremely talented Mark Tildesley was the production designer.
