Whilst working as a Producer at the BBC, Sheryl approached acclaimed comedy writers Lawrence Marks and Maurice Gran – well known for their successful TV drama series – to see if they had a single film idea. Wall of Silence was their response and Sheryl developed and produced this BBC 1 film, collaborating closely with them.
Based on a true story, Sheryl developed and produced this TV single drama feature for Channel 4, commissioning and collaborating with the writer Barbara Machin to bring this to life. Working with Chris Oxley as director and Anna Symons as researcher, this was one of Sheryl’s three features at September Films as Head of Drama.
