Helmed by one of the BBC’s most talented writer directors, Stephen Poliakoff scripted this feature film – a wartime psychological and political thriller set in the heart of the conflicted British establishment. Starring an amazing British cast including Romola Garai, Eddie Redmayne, Bill Nighy, Hugh Bonneville, David Tennant and Julie Christie, it was quite an honour to be involved in this production and watch actors excel at what they do. This was another Screen East Content Investment fund production working in partnership with the BBC, Talk Back Thames, The UKFC and Quicksilver Films. Glorious 39 was an official selection at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.
