Whilst Head of Development and Acquisitions at New Sparta Production, Sheryl was pitched this amazing CIA heist thriller story by Director Phil Carter. It was such a huge untold story that Sheryl decided to simultaneously develop this both as a documentary feature film and a scripted feature. The screenplay she developed with Dave Collard – an LA-based writer in co-development with Scott Free Productions LA – was eventually voted number three on the prestigious Hollywood blacklist in 2022. The documentary feature film was produced by Sheryl and premiered at New York Doc festival, scoring excellent reviews and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
